Second Brain is a private, internal application. It is used only by the owner of Badger Digital Solutions, LLC to manage his own household and business finances. It has no other users and is not offered to the public.
With the owner's consent, given in Plaid Link each time an account is connected, the application receives account details (name, type, the last four digits of the account number), balances, transactions, loan details and investment holdings for the owner's own accounts through Plaid. Full account and routing numbers are not stored.
Only to provide the owner's own budgeting, bookkeeping, invoicing and tax-preparation features. Transaction descriptions may be processed by an AI service (Anthropic) solely to suggest spending categories.
The data is never sold, rented, licensed or shared with anyone for any other purpose.
Access requires the owner's Microsoft sign-in with multi-factor authentication; data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Details are in Badger Digital's Information Security Policy.
Financial records are kept for seven years and then deleted. Disconnecting an account ends Plaid's access immediately. Data can be deleted at the owner's request within 30 days.
